High Country Adventure got its start in 1989 with a simple idea: the Provo and Weber Rivers are two of the best rivers in Utah, and everyone should get the chance to experience them from the water. More than three decades later, that idea is still what drives us — whether it's a family's first time on a raft or a longtime local group booking their tenth trip of the summer.
We run trips across four ways to get on the water: relaxed Provo River tubing, guided and self-guided rafting on both the Provo and Weber Rivers, inflatable kayaking for paddlers who want more control over their line, and multiday rental gear for groups planning their own longer trip further up the canyon.
Service Area
Our home base sits right at the mouth of Provo Canyon, giving quick access to put-ins on both the Provo River and, for our Weber River trips, the canyon further north. Every trip includes private parking and shuttle service, so you never have to worry about logistics — just show up and we'll handle the rest.
Our Commitment to the River
The rivers we run on are also the rivers we love, and we take that seriously. From maintaining our private takeouts to supporting local river conservation efforts, we work to keep Provo and Weber Canyon healthy for the wildlife, the water, and the next generation of paddlers who'll be running these same rapids long after us.
